  • Allied Therapy Services is an in-home and community-based therapy service, this means our therapists are fully mobile and will come to you! Our service areas include; Albury-Wodonga, Ballarat, Bendigo, Geelong, Warrnambool and Western Melbourne

  • Our core services are occupational therapy, physiotherapy and speech pathology, services can vary across our regions so we recommend visiting our team pages to see which therapies are available near you.

    We also have a neurological therapy team who support clients with a range of neurological conditions across our locations.

  • Allied Therapy Services supports people who have physical or cognitive disability, a neurological condition and people who are experiencing age-related changes.

  • Yes! Our team enjoys working collaboratively across therapies where needed to problem-solve and support clients who need more than one therapy support. Simply select the therapies you are after when you complete the referral form.

  • No sorry, Allied Therapy Services can only accept referrals for clients aged 16 years and older.

  • No, we accept self-referrals, you can self-refer via our online form.

  • While we do accept requests from you to be seen by a particular therapist (you can add this to the notes on your referral form), we cannot always guarantee you will be allocated to that therapist.

    We are, however, very proud to have a highly skilled and friendly team of therapists available to work with you across our locations.

    Know that if your request cannot be accommodated, we will work to find another suitably qualified therapist to work with you or your clients.

  • Yes! If you are ready to make a new referral complete our online referral form.

    Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Speech Pathology supports are funded via your CB Daily Activities (Improved daily living) budget. For new clients we require ten (10) hours of NDIS funding to cover initial assessments and reporting.

  • Yes, our Occupational Therapists can complete Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) and Supported Independent Living (SIL) assessments and recommendations for the NDIS.

    Due to the complex nature of these assessments, we do require at least 20 hours of funding to complete these applications. Read more on our Housing and Support page.

  • In most cases, yes! We have service agreements with a number of providers, please contact our team to discuss your referral needs further.

  • Yes, we do!

    We do require payment for therapy services within 7-days of receiving an invoice. Please note that our services are charged at a flat hourly rate, which covers travel time, appointments and report writing.

    For new private paying clients, we require a commitment from you of five (5) hours of funding to cover initial assessments and reporting.

  • In short, yes providing you meet the requirements, see below for more details.

    Like any private client, you can pay for services and then claim anything you are entitled to back from Medicare (noting that allied health rebates via Medicare do require a Chronic Disease Management Plan from your GP).

    We recommend you discuss any Medicare rebates you may be eligible for with your GP prior to self-referring with us. Please be aware you may be considerably out of pocket even with the Medicare rebate.

    Please also note, not all therapies in all locations can provide Medicare services, please contact our team to check if we service your location for Medicare.

  • Short answer, yes!

    Like any private client, you can pay upfront for our services and then claim anything you are entitled to back from your private health insurance provider.

    We do require payment for therapy services within 7-days of receiving an invoice, preferably via bank transfer.

    We recommend exploring your level of cover and the claim process, with your private health insurer, prior to self-referring to us. Please be aware you may still be out of pocket even with your private health insurance rebate.
